How It Started
Play not Pause is the brainchild of Hannah (48) and Lauren (45). When early 40’s hit, we couldn’t believe the (seemingly overnight) changes that happened to our bodies and minds. With little to no advice from our GP’s, we chose not to let midlife grind us down and did the research for ourselves. We soon realised that peri-menopause was largely overlooked.
We have made it our personal mission to find out everything we could about our hormones and menopause, how it affects us and how to bring balance back into our lives.
And Now..
Exercise and nutrition has been a game changer for us. We became very aware of how much better we felt when we were taking better care of ourselves.
We want to use everything that we’ve learnt to create an experience where women can get involved without feeling judged, gain confidence and enjoy looking after their hormones.

Team Goals
Between us we’ve hit all the hormonal milestones and suffered the consequences that these changes bring. From periods to fertility and pregnancy and peri-menopause we have ticked all the boxes.
With the help and expertise of some really talented people, we have carefully put together tried and tested programmes, products and supplements in the hope that we can pass on some of that knowledge. Our team is made up of our favourite coach and personal trainer, a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist, a number of medical professionals and our teenagers, who have offered some much needed advice along the way.
